Days of Winter, Days of Pain

I am tired of fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, backpain and heartache! Everything has hurt for so long that I can't remember a time that I didn't hurt all over. But today seems to be worse than I've had in a long time! I wish there was a way to take a 'bath' in lidocaine-lol! I have been trying to knit my sons things he needs before he leaves on the 22nd but I just can't knit or crochet for very long because my hands are swollen and in pain. No one understands especially my husband. Why do most men think you want sex 24/7-even when you are in so much pain you can barely move! I hate that so much! I also have to worry about my son who is at the Utah State Mental Hospital in Provo, Utah. He went there to get his medication regulated but they didn't give him his meds for two days, the doctor forgot to order it, then this same stupid doctor won't even check a large lump he has on his upper left side. He is supposed to be in group therapy-nada; he is supposed to be able to go to his room when overly agitated-not happening; and he should be able to sleep in his own room-nope, he sleeps on the floor in a room with two other kids. Frustrating to say the least and anger inducing-I want to strangle someone! I'm thinking of finding an attorney to sue for malpractice or something so my youngest son can get the care he so desperately needs.

Well, I finally finished the sweaters for my DGS's. They are moving to St. George Utah and may not need heavy coats all the time like here in Central Utah during the winter months but these sweater, gloves and hats I made them should keep them cozy all winter there.  The sweaters were an adaptation of the Lambs Cardigan pattern, with other figures on them instead and the gloves and hats were my own creation since there are very few patterns for gloves for 2 and 4 year old children available. I will post the patterns and photos soon. I will sure miss those boys! they are my only grandsons that I see on a regular basis and I actually used to take care of them while my DD#3 and her husband were at work.

Now I have to get busy making warm things for my son who is going to Vancouver Canada in January. He is going there on an LDS mission and has asked me to make him warm gloves, mittens, hats and a vest or two.  He went and chose his suits yesterday and they are both in the grey color spectrum. One is a medium grey and the second is a darker grey with a hint of a pinstripe in it, so now to make him things that will match those colors.
